I've WLM version 8.0.812.0, it has a very bad bug, it takes a LOT virtual
memory, (it reached over one GIGABYTE) this is too bad, I can't use the
program anymore, please do something.

The same thing happens to me.
I repaired, uninstalled, reinstalled, cleaned registry, deleted folders,
installed MSN 7.5 the problem remained.
I sent 2 reports to MS last week, they did not reply, neither did anyone
came up with anything useful on this mailing list.

If you can solve it somehow let me know.

Greetings,

This was a problem during the early betas, but it was fixed and I'm not seeing it here in the
current builds.

Well I experience it with the latest publicly avaible version as well as 7.5
if I downgrade to it.
I assume the broken files came with WLMDB.

I am quite disappointed with MS support they did not even responds to my bug
reports, I usually get answers from free linux distros in few hours.

I have experienced the same issues but only since installing IE 7.0 RC1. I
have tried updating to the latest beta release of Live Messenger without any
sucsess... My msnmgr.exe process consumes around 950MB of Virtual Memory.

I too have reported the bug back to microsoft.. See What happens..

Same here consumes all avaible virtual memory.
Also happened to me same day when I installed IE7 RC1.
I think either IE7 RC1 or WLMD shares files with MSN, ( the later does for
sure) and those might have overwritten existing MSN files.

I also found that this issue started after I installed IE 7 RC1 I guess it
has a bug related with WLM, but I found that svchost.exe also started to take
some huge V.memory, adding that, this problems only happended on my limited
(primery user) I now switched to the admin. (secondry, used for
administration only ) and the problem doesn't exist, it's a 100% MS problem,
they gotta solve it b4 releasing the final IE 7
