virtual memory

Could someone please help!!! I am using WinXP and I keep getting a pop up that says "system is low on virtual memory. Windows is increasing the size of virtual memory, paging file during this process memory request may be denied. For more information see help", but i can't even get to help.

I think you should specify the virtual memory yourself in system
property-->Advanced option(maybe that name,I m not sure)
