Virtual Networking

I am trying to use one of the VMWare's Virtual Adapters instead of
NAT from Virtual pc 2007, as I want to setup a Virtual Network.
1. The client side will be running virtual pc 2007 sp1
,DOS 6.22 and Clarkson Telnet
2. The server side is running VMWare FreeBSD.
3. The server and client will be sharing one broadband facility.
4. The host is Windows XP Pro
5. I have assigned every virtual adapter ( i have four currently) to some
192.168.x.x ip addresses
but Virtual PC would complain that I have a NUL MAC address 00.00....
blah blah blah when
I use one of these virtual adapters on startup....
6. I didn't know what I was doing but I tried to
"bridge" the Physical Adapter. (it should be of no use
because I don't have other machines in the same
domain.
Am I on the right track? Or totally screwed up.
Any comments are welcome
Thanks
Jack
