Virtual Server 2005 or Virtual PC 2007 - to run server labs ?

I want to setup labs on my desktop computer XP ---- install server 2003 as
guests/work with AD ....

Should I install the virtual server 2005 or virtual pc 2007 on my XP desktop ?

And hardware ----- to run 2 servers together - act as a domain along with
the host/XP ---- I should h ave 5/6 GB memory.....

Both will work. If you only need this setup as a learning experience I
would use VPC. It is much more friendly to work with than Virtual Server,
and would do the job.

You need enough memory to have all the vms running together without
starving the host OS. Server 2003 runs comfortably in 512M for a test DC or
file server. You should be able to run 3 guests (Server 2003 and/or XP) with
4G in the host.

You won't be able to use more than about 3.5 Gb RAM with XP....
