Yes, with Virtual PC 2007, free download from Microsoft. I do this
everyday for my development work.

BTW, have you tried running your software in "XP compatibility mode", and/or
as Administrator? That helps lots of stuff run in Vista.

You can if you have a copy of
XP that can be activated.

I'm no expert on this...I just know it
worked for me.

Download the full version of Microsoft Virtual PC 2007
http://tinyurl.com/287fx8
or...
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Anyway...after creating the Virtual Machine...
open it and click...Start.

Wait until you see:

'Reboot and Select proper Boot device
or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device'
(It may be slow to appear)

Place the WinXP Disk in your CD/DVD Drive.

The Install Options screen should appear.
(If the screen doesn't appear...and if you have
more than one optical drive...try the other one
after a reboot...) (To reboot...Go to...Action /
Ctrl - Alt + Delete...Or...Right - Alt + Delete)

After you have the install completed...
go to...Action...and select...
'Install or Update Virtual Machine Additions'
(This will allow you to freely move your cursor
from the Virtual screen to your System screen)

You'll have to download your updates, install
virus software and basically maintain it as you
would any other operating system.
