Not sure if it is related to the Vista compression or the Vista CD
burner, but I used Vista folder compression to package 2gb of wav
files. Compression was great (about 170kb) and I took it to my friends
place. He has an imac. It could only see 4 of the wav files. We never
had this problem with XP and WinZip. I will have to try again with
WinZip and see what's what.
I had also put 17 MP3's on the disc. Oddly enough, when we put it into
his DVD player to listen to the MP3's, the player only recognized the
first 4 mp3's
I don't think the two are related, but it was curious that the common
demoninator is 4 in both cases.
