As it turns out there are three versions of Windows Photo Gallery on my 64
bit machine:
Windows Live Photo Gallery (I'll call this WPG-A)
WPG-B that resides under c:\program files\........
WPG-C that resides under c:\program files (x86)\......
WPG-A is just too slow moving from photo to photo - 3 to 5 seconds per flip.
WPG-B is fast moving from photo to photo but takes 30-45 seconds to open up
WPG-C opens immediately and instantly moves from photo to photo so this is
the one that I want to use BUT when I have selected this installation as the
default program when I double click a .jpg I don't see that photo but get
something that looks like Windows Explorer and has icons for all of the
various files which I can then open up.
How do I make the WPG that resides under c:\program files (x86)\.... open up
the specific file on which I am double clicking?
