You get a 32 bit Vista and you reformat your computer and then install the 32 bit

Contact Dell Support and ask them to send you their Vista 32-bit DVD.
Once you receive it, boot from the DVD and delete the existing 64-bit
Vista partition, create a new partition, then install the 32-bit version.

Contact Dell for a replacement. You will need to do a clean install which
means installing all the correct drivers for the 32-bit OS. You will get
the drivers at Dell's tech support site for your specific model computer.

Either you ask for one from Dell or you can buy an OEM vista 32bit dis
from almost anywhere. Also you can download untouched versions of vist
online and you can just use your key to activate vista. Personally I se
nothing wrong with this since you are using your own key but what do
know

Hi, Kevin.

Are you sure? I've never met a 32-bit application that won't run on my
Vista Ultimate 64 - and now on the Win7 Ultimate x64 beta. I run Office and
all the other Microsoft apps, of course, plus Quicken, Photoshop Elements,
PerfectDisk, Apples QuickTime - and lots of others. For a few apps, I had
to right-click on the .exe file and set it to be Compatible with WinXP, but
very few.

If you mention a couple of program names (games?), someone here probably
will recognize them and tell you how to run them in Vista x64. Then you
will be able to take one step forward, rather than a step or two backwards.
The future is with 64-bit and you are already more than half-way over the
hump, with your 64-bit hardware and Vista x64 installed..
