II just bought Smartscore Pro and can not get the mouse to stay in the
edit window . The rest of the program works well, at least what I have
tried.

The Musitek people are being very silent on this. Are there any
settings that may be in vista that are interfering? I have checked out
the mouse and it is running o.k. but is somewhat erratic. It is 10
years old (my new one broke already) . Could that be the problem?

Any ideas are welcome. This is a great forum and you have helped me
out before with some very intelligent thinking. I am not real computer
savvy and know enough to get by so KISS (keep it simple (for) stupid!
Thanks.

Buy a new mouse. Try it. You can get a nice new USB optical mouse for a few
dollars.

I bought a new logitech mouse . As almost everyone told me, a ne
mouse is not the answer. I accomplished a little by turning off th
acceleration and setting the mouse to very slow. I managed to get som
notes put in the working window. Not good enough though. Any mor
ideas? Thanks. Karon
