Vista 64-bit - which system to purchase

I will be purchasing a new computer, and have narrowed it down to two HP
models. Both systems have 6GB system memory and are running Windows Vista
Home Premium 64-bit. The configuration are the same except for the CPU's:


System #1: quad-core 2.5GHz Phenom 9850 processor
System #2: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 (2.66GHz/64KB L1/4MB L2 Cache)


If all the other components are the same, which CPU would be expected to run
faster?

I second previous poster. Intel is my choice too.

The Math say's it all.
2.5Ghz or 2.66Ghz, where as the larger the number, the faster it is.
