Hey guys,

Bought my second packard bell computer yesterday after my one got old
anyway here is the computer I got.

*IMEDIA 8552*
-Hardware-
Processor AMD Phenom 9550
8GB DDR2
2 Disk Drives 500 GB SATA 7200 rpm
nVidia Geforce 9500GS 512MB
DVD RW R9

I bought this computer in Spain came in spanish with windows vista 32
bit home premium so i got a guide on the internet changed it to english
from spanish.But as I know 32 bit can only use 3.5GB so I need Vista 64
bit in order to use the ram with this pc were do i get the update is
there anything i should have gotten with the computer?.I want to update
it to 64 bit so i can get the full use from the system i bought.Also is
there a download i am sure its a fresh install any help would be great!.

Hi,

You would need to obtain 64-bit media and do a clean install. There's no
upgrade path from 32 to 64 bit. Also, before you do, check with the
manufacturer's site and ensure that 64-bit drivers are available for your
system, without them installing x64 will be and exercise in frustration.
