Hi,

My machine is running Vista home premium 64bit.

The most annoying issue i am currently having with the machine is that
Windows Update appear to be broken. The machine has now attempted to install
an update to 'Windows Update' called 7.0.6000.374 about 20 times now and
every time is fails. The machien has a working internet connection and all
other internet based services appear fine. I get an error code 800F081F.

IS there anyway of downloading this update manually to see if this helps?
Since windows update is now out of date i have also missed out on many
further updates this is getting downright annoying.

Any help greatfully recieved,

Phil Holder
