I had to buy a new bios chip for my motherboard. Now, windows vista asking me
to activate vista. When I try to use my key. It says already in use. When I
try to get help they want $59.95. Which I think is crazy, for something i
shouldn't even be dealing with. Is there a way to correct the problem or a
contact that will not charge be $60? Any help would be much appreciated.

One frustated Vista user.

It is in use; by you!
When you activate, take the phone option, and hold on for a real person.
Should take 10-15 minutes.

Agreed. And, if the first person you talk to is a problem, then
politely say goodnight. Then, call back and you'll be likely to talk to
someone more accommodating.

I feel your frustration. Get Ubuntu and be done with activation, WGA and
the rest. Check it out at: http://www.ubuntu.com/

Thanks everyone for your help. Finnally got it using phone option, and after
reading off and typing 54 digits.

I know you think it's spamming but you're wrong. In any event, what are
you going to do about it besides scream like the idiot you really are?

Now you're doing your physical harm dance? Let's see, how many dances
can you do? My favorite is your back pedal break dance.
