I recently had the malware Bloodhound.Exploit.106, and after ages with Norton
Internet Security 2007 people, they sent me to the online Symantec Security
Check -Virus Detection, however it won't let me download. The message is:
Unable to run Virus Detection
In order to run Virus Detection you must be using Microsoft Internet
Explorer 5.0 or higher with ActiveX and Scripting enabled.
My ActiveX and Scripting is exactly as help has said will fix the problem in
Tools/Internet Options/Security, but it hasn't.
Even my signature in Outlook with a picture background give my the error
message:
One or more ActiveX controls could not be displayed because either:
1) Your current security settings prohibit running AcitveX controls on this
page, or
2) You have blocked a publisher of one of the controls
As a result, the page may not display correctly.
I have Vista Business with IE7, can't update my imate 'cos they aren't yet
Vista compatible - hate Vista!
Any help gratefully accepted.
PS Freeware CCleaner got rid of the Bloodhound, 4 others didn't!
