I have a Dell XPS PC. It had problems from new so a new hard drive was
installed and Vista Ultimate and all software re-loaded. Since then I have a
problem that when Adobe Reader is opened, it crashes the first time. If you
wait until its closed and try to read the document again, then Adobe Reader
opens. When you close abobe reader it also crashes. Removing and
reinstalling has had no effect. Any ideas what to do. Adobe don't seem to
offer support for reader.

Possible fix in the following Adobe forum...

Adobe reader 9 plugin crashes

And...maybe the free Foxit reader
would be worth a try?

Foxit Reader 3.0 for Windows
