Vista and mouse instal

I have been trying to install another mouse driver in Vista Home Basic.
The reason is that I have a programme that will not scroll with this mouse -
driver installed. PS/2.

Any help appreciated.

You shouldn't need any special driver for a PS/2 mouse. Is it a new
one or the same one you've always been using?
