I cannot install this update:

I receive: Error Code: 0x80070643

I have used all of the trouble shooting steps outlined in the KB and nothing
seem to work.

Configuration:

Windows SBS 2003 (NOT R2), but with SP2 installed.

I have Isolated (I think) to be a registry key entry:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SmallBusines sServer]>
"ServicePackNumber"=dword:00000001 (Which is 1)

Of course there is no SP2 for SPS Server 2003, but if I change the dword
value to 2, and then run Microsoft Update, the "Critical Update for Windows
Small Business Server 2003: Vista and Outlook 2007 compatibility (KB 926505)"
does not appear.

I have no idea what is causing this problem. Due to the search capabilities
of this discussion group, I receive no returns when I do a sear on serveral
differnt criteria. The answer may be in here somewhere, but I can't seem to
locate it for whatever reason.

If anyone knows the "secret" please reply.

Regards,

Scott
