Vista and Word

I'm running Microsoft Office Word. Every time I get out of the program a
screen comes up saying "this program has a fatal flaw" or something like
that. Then another screen comes up saying "Windows cannot find this file and
is closing." Does anyone else have this problem with Vista and Word?

I suggest you use Office's diagnostic (and repair) tool. It is in the
Office Tools folder.

Try the Office Diagnostic tool first. There may be no need to repair
install Office. It is in Office Tools.

Yes, Spike, I have had the same problem with Word closing as well. The
wording on the explanation dialog box is not the same, however. Too,
the problem is an intermittent one. As has been suggested here, I
have run the diagnostic and repair tools that come with Word, but no
joy. Hopefully, the issue will be addressed in a future patch in
Microsoft Office updates.

When I close Word by clicking the X in the upper right corner I get an
error message and it says it has notified Hewlett Packard about the
problem ;-)

But, if I go to file -> exit, it closes normally.
