Vista Appearance - Ultimate vs. Home

I need to know whether there is any difference in overall screen appearance
(task bar, menu bar, etc) between Vista Ultimate and Home Edition. I have to
take some screen shot for a publisher, and they suggest Ultimate, but I am
just wondering if it would make any difference in taking a shot of a typical
URL screen or software application, such as Word.

Thanks!

Harry

Hi Harry,

No difference between them. The only one different is Home Basic, which
doesn't have the aero features.

You screen shot won't vary much. It's true that Home (not Premium') does not
use the full Aero theme. but the transparencies, and other Aero features are
not that noticeable in a screen shot of an app window. (Especially in Full
Screen mode.) I would use Ultimate.

Ultimate and Home Premium can have more than one appearance
including Aero. Home Basic can have all but Aero. Think about who
your primary audience is.
