I am trying to install a clean install of Vista basic on my Windows 2000
machine. I am using the 5 CD's since my computer doesn't have a DVD. When
the installation is in the expanding files portion of the install, I get this
message:

"The procedure entry point LZclose could not be located in the dynamic link
library KERNEL32.dll"

The installation stops. I restarted the install but it stopped at this same
point again.

I am running a Dell Dimension 8100. I would be happy to provide any other
pertinent info that I know.

Can't find any info on the microsoft website for this problem.
