I am getting the same results you are, only I'm running a Thinkpad X41
Tablet, and it has an apparently recognized IDE drive. But like you, I get
stopped in safe mode at crcdisk.sys.
I tried using boot options to enable boot logging, but no file seems to be
created.
At least on the Thinkpad, I'm starting to wonder if it is some of Lenovo's
value add software for rescue/recovery, or security, that might be the
problem. I don't know if the Toshiba ships with similar pieces.
If you make any progress, or find a way to further debug the problem, I'd
appreciate a reply. Thanks!
