Hi,
After installing beta 2, windows update worked fine until this morning, and now when i check for new updates it searches briefly and then responds with "Windows could not search for new updates" and reports Error code 80070057. I can't find anything about this error code online so I was wondering if anybody had any ideas? Below I've included an extract from my windows update log in the next post on this thread. I've put in all the activity from today until it just starts repeating itself - there's also a a different error which was the first error I found and immediately preceeds the current one - the cause maybe?) hi just developed the same problem last night and i have had vista beta 2

It appears from other threads that you need to upgade to Vista RC1 to get any
further updates beta2 updates are not supported anymore I guess....
