vista boot problem

Hi,

Occasionally, but not always I get an error message that vista failed
to boot properly and I have to use the disc to repair, I've ran virus scans
but nothing showed, anyone else have similar problems?

have you run a chkdsk?
a hard drive failing can do that, among other things.

Try to use hibernate instead of shutting down the system all the time
It turns off your computer and saves your current session in memory
However, remember to shut down your system every once in a while to kee
it from slowing down
