Vista boot/recovery woes

I have a Dell 1520 running Vista that decided this morning it would boot OK
but would not runmail or access the internet via ie. A reboot has led to the
system throwing up an error from LogonUI - unable to find shlwapi.dll. I've
tried the repair options from the vista disc but still get the same problem.

Surprisingly, trying to boot to a command prompt also results in exactly the
same error.

Any ideas (besides a complete reinstall!) ?

Problem solved - managed to get to the command prompt using the VISTA
recovery options, then copy over the file from anothe vista PC.
