I was renaming a number of photo's. They then became x
x(1),x(2),x(3),x(4) etc. After this I pressed undo rename, followed b
redo rename, and now all the photo's except one have dissapeared. The
are no where to be found
Has anyone ever heard of this bug, or if there is some solution t
getting the pictures back

Looks like a change in the computer operator would fix things.

I saw something similar once when working on a separate drive from Vista ie
another partition, although I don't recall the precise scenario. So was this
on your main partition or elsewhere? Perhaps these advanced renaming
techiques have a bug when using certain drives other than c:. Just a theory,
anyhow.

Not that that helps to retrieve the files of course, but may help in
identifying the causes of the bug to help avoid it in future.
