Vista is able to view contents of the XP computer and even move files to
the folder. But from XP... when I dbl click on it.. it says it is being
protected or do not have any rights to it. I am connected to it using
wireless..

Hi
That usually indicts that the Vista computer File sharing is Not configured
correctly, and or Vista Software Firewall blocks the connection.
Make sure that the Software Firewall on each computer allows free local
traffic. If you use 3rd party Firewall On, Vista/XP Native Firewall should
be Off, and the active Firewall has to adjusted to your Network IP numbers
on what is some time called the Trusted Zone (consult your 3rd Party
Firewall instructions.
General example, http://www.ezlan.net/faq#trusted
Then look at the page that Malke linked to (
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l.../bb727037.aspx ), and go Slowly,
Carefully, over the Sharing and the Permission settings.
