Vista can't find drivers

Is there a fix yet for the bug of Vista not finding drivers?

I know deleting infcache1.inf provides a temporary fix, but after a
whileVista loses the plot and I have to keep telling it to look for drivers
in the System32 folder.

I have updated BIOS and chipset of my compute.

Yes, I think there's a bug. I had the same problem too, but I found an update
and it fixed it. The update is KB940199. It should solve it.
