Annoying little issue:
I am running Vista Ultimate, but when I go to Control Panel (in classic
view), all I get is just the icons with no description under the icons! How
can I restore the names of the icons under the visual representations?
Thanks in advance
DAVID

Hi,
I know this is going to sound silly but, press alt to see the tool menu.
Then select view. With the ctrl and alt keys pressed, select each of the
different views, starting with tiles and ending with large icons. Then let go
of the Crtl and alt keys and select Control panel home in the upper left.
Then reselect classic view. Should be back to normal.

This is easier.

Open the control panel
From the Views dropdown list, select Details
Press and hold the SHIFT key, and select Medium Icons (or Large Icons) from
the Views dropdown list
Close and re-open the control panel.

Do this again to rehide the discriptions.

Just in case my last post is not seen. Do this.

Open the control panel
From the Views dropdown list, select Details
Press and hold the SHIFT key, and select Medium Icons (or Large Icons) from
the Views dropdown list
Close and re-open the control panel.

Do this again to rehide the discriptions.

What part of "description under the icons" did you have a problem
understanding MISTER Arnold?
