Vista Crash Windows Media Player/Media Center

On a constant basis my computer crashes while running windows media center or
windows media player, then I get the blue screen of death. I checked
Reliability and Performance monitor, I have errors under "windows failures"
in ever instance it says os stopped working.
Errors are as follows: 00000116 , 6 times
0000008e
0000000a
I have a 8800gts with latest drives
X-Fi sound card w/ beta drivers
AMD 4000+ processer
Been running vista a few days
