Vista Crashes after awaking from sleep

I am having a problem with Vista crashing after it wakes from sleep mode when
I launch certain programs. The programs that I try to launch the causes the
crash produce a .exe tab in the task bar and flash orange. When I try to
click on it to give it permission to run, Vista crashes and goes to a blue
screen where it gives instruction on what to do and looks like it creates a
memory dump file as it counts to 100. It tells me to start in safe mode and
do a bunch of stuff but when I start it in safe mode, it just sits and spins
the wheels, nothing will load, it freezes. Anyone have this issue or know of
a fix for it? Thanks in advance. P.S. Vista only crashes when I open a
program that requires permission, any other programs that load without
needing permission work fine and Vista doesn't crash.

What is the name of the offending program?

It is udate.exe that is in the task bar flasing orange. It is a trading
platform that I use. Some programs have to be allowed to run by User Account
Control for some reason, is there a way to disable this feature? Is this a
part of the Windows Defender? It is very annoying. This particular program
that I am trying to launch doesn't even show a security icon on top of the
desktop icon like most do that require permission to run. I am baffled.
The screen that comes up after it crashes tells me to try turning
of memory cacheing and shadowing (I think it's memory) but to be honest with
you, I am afraid to mess around with the bios settings, I am not an expert in
that area at all. I wanted to get some feedback before I attempted to try it.
Thanks.
The name of the particular program that I launch when it crashes
is, Dealbook 360, also Your Uninstaller wiil cause it to do the same thing.
Once it crashes and I go through the entire rebooting process, the programs
launch fine, they don't crash, it is only when the computer has been in sleep
mode for a length of time, (usually at least an hour). Thanks for the reply,
look forward to getting this resolved. It is so frustrating.
