Whenever I watch a video for more than a few minutes Vista crashes, the
screen goes blank and the computer restarts. It used to happen only when
I played them in full screen but now it happens even when it's not in
FS.

I updated all the drivers and reinstalled WMP and VLC, but no luck.

Does anybody can help me???

This is what I get:

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.0.6001.2.1.0.768.3
Locale ID: 4105

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 116
BCP1: 8471E510
BCP2: 8BE07060
BCP3: C00000B5
BCP4: 0000000A
OS Version: 6_0_6001
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 768_1

Files that help describe the problem:
C:\Windows\Minidump\Mini102808-01.dmp
C:\Users\Julio\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-2192609-0.sysdata.xml
C:\Users\Julio\AppData\Local\Temp\WER845C.tmp.vers ion.txt

I can't help it, but I'm reminded of one particular chestnut:

Patient: Doctor, Doctor - it hurts whenever I do this!

Doctor: Well, don't do that.

What video card is this? This sounds like something you would want actual
support for as opposed to newsgroup chats about.

When Windows 7 comes out you'll still be offering up the same limp
excuses. Everyone knows Media Player is a pile of crap. You worked on
it or so you've told us, so you can't bring yourself to admit as much.

For a blue screen? So the fact that VLC appears to be blue-screening here
is now "Media Player"'s fault? O_o

That insinuation is at face value breathtakingly incompetent. Go look up
VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE aka BCCode 0x116...

Trolling is one thing, derailing people from getting solutions to their
problems is what seems to require actual outright malice. =\
