Vista crashing all the time

I am getting some serious problems with Vista. I am using Vista HP but keep
getting windows problem messages. Launcher.exe cannot load, windows has
recovered from a serious error, windows has encountered a problem windows
installer failed to launch etc etc. What is causing this and what can I do
about it.........without having to reinstall Vista.

You might want to read this:

Then scan the system for malware/spyware, as your problems are likely
stemming from unwanted software attempting to run on the system.

Non Vista compliant software is running on the machine. It could be malware
or even something you have installed that's causing issues.
