Vista Defaulting to 640 x 480 Res After Reboot...

Vista Ultimate 32bit keeps resetting my Nvidia 7800 video display to the
lowest resolution setting after I reboot. I have current drivers for the
card
(163.75). I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling the drivers. I have
rolled back to my three earliest restore points, but it still stubbornly
forgets my settings every time I reboot.

Can anyone give me some ideas? Anyone with similar problems?

Is there a program running at start-up set to run at 640x480?

Press <WINKEY>+<R>, type "MSCONFIG" (without quotes) and press <ENTER>.
Click on the "Boot" tab and make sure that the "Base Video" box does not
have a check mark in it, then click OK.
