Vista Defrag Performance Test?

Anyone have a link to 3rd Party comparison tests? I know there is one
where some major magazine compared them to the background "smart
defragger" in Vista. The results were that 3rd party defreggers
increased boot time and other things I think.

Did anyone read this?
I can't find it by searching.

Thanks.

boot times for my vista machines suck no matter which defragger I use,
including Vista's.

hehe...Do you have a motherboard capable of S3 sleep? I think if yo
have one, you actually don't have to boot that much...unless it crashe
or you're updating, etc. It only uses like 2 Watts I read

I concur: the only time I ever boot Vista is if one of the updates requires
it.

Mine uses 6W in sleep, but interestingly that's exactly the same in standby
and when off. As you know, even when "off" part of the motherboard remains
powered up.

Woah, wht kinda Power Supply you got. I would reckon it's the power
supply. It's like when you have an adapter plugged in with nothing
chargin and it still gets warm maybe?
