Vista Desktop Background Issue

Since trying and failing to get a downloaded theme to work I have been
having a problem where my backgrounds do not fill the full size of the
screen regardless of whether I use stretch or center when setting them.

It is as if Vista is incorrectly determining where the center of the
image is and I am left with a blank section at the bottom of the screen.
I have tried restoring the windows aero files from back ups I made as
well as using a system restore but to no avail.

Any ideas?

Hello Munch,

You might see if a '*Repair (upgrade) install*'
(http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/88...all-vista.html) can
fix the problem for you. To be safe, you should backup anything you do
not want to lose though.
