Last night windows mail couldn't connect by modem. No matter how many times
I typed my username and password the damned connection would lose the
password before it could dial. I erased everything and set up a new modem
connection, same problem. I got really wild by noon today after three
dozen retries to set up a phone connection and started doing random things.
I found that if I typed my password in as a username and typed nothing in
the password spot the connection would dial and connect perfectly. This
damned Vista is doing everything backwards. Anybody have any idea of what
the program is doing?
