I have a few users that never turn off their laptops, they just close the
cover whenever they go home. This means that their computers are rearely
rebooted. The problem is that their KMS activations never refresh like every
other computer in the company. While the normal computers refresh every 7
days, wether they are rebooted or not, the ones that are sent to resume mode
do not refresh until they are rebooted.
My question is why does Vista not refresh the KMS activation if the computer
is resumed from standby. I know rebooting is a viable atlernative, but it
would be nice if it wasn't a requirement.
