Vista + DVD (film)

Hi,

Is it possible to stop a DVD-fim and later to go further from that point?

I thought ever saw it in another packet. It suppose it can not depend on the
DVD itself but should be in PC software?

Any advice is welcome

It may help telling us what program you are using to playback your DVD
movies.

I've just checked now with Windows Media Player 11. I inserted the DVD,
selected the "Play movie with Media Player" autoplay option, and then
skipped a couple of chapters. I closed Windows Media Player, ejected the
DVD, and then re-inserted it. The movie started playing where I last
left off.

If I first click "STOP" before ejecting the DVD, then the same movie
starts playing from the beginning again.
