Vista Error 8007000E

I'm using Windows Vista Enterprise. Last night, after Vista attempted
to get new updates, it restarted. Now today, many applications are
crashing with errors about "storage." I tried to check out Windows
Update and I get this error "Windows could not search for new updates"
"Code 8007000E"

The bottom of the WindowsUpdate.log file is:
