No reply from 'microsoft.public.windows.vista.file_management' so I'll try
here.
Long before Vista thought about Tags I would add a 'Comment' to a file I
downloaded... in XP and Win2k. Then in explorer I'd display the comment
along with file size, etc.
I could then go back several hours later and see that...
'hb-z-1-2-03.exe'... was really the 3rd. new beta driver released for my
video card.
In XP you just did properties then clicked in the comment box and added your
comment.
How to do in Vista?
By the way the tag thingy... if you are going to do this then lets do it.
You can only tag when you 'Save As'? Only certain files? Got a way to go
on this one methinks.
Now back to the Comment Field... anyone?
I do dual boot so I could add the comment from XP but at some point in time
I'd just as soon use only Vista. Quite like it but I'm a sucker for a
pretty face.
