Hey,

Can someone tell me how to set up the folder options to display the number
of subfolders or items when its selected. It used to display in the bottom of
the folder window but got disabled. Any folder clicked on would display in a
small footer the number of items stored in in and size.

Any ideas please help...

If I've understood your request correctly, it would seem as though you
Details Pane has gone missing

Click on "Organize", then "Layout", then "Details Pane

Did that do the trick

"Acronis True Image" is the only one I use these days. It's not exactl
free, but it works on both Vista x86 and Vista x64, and it has som
features that knock the c*** out of Norton Ghost..

Check it out - 'Backup software for data backup and disaster recover
in Windows and Linux - Acronis' (http://www.acronis.com/

Windows Media Player is used when you're working on your computer AS
computer

Windows Media Center is used when the primary function of the compute
is to be used as a TV/PVR, and the display is a TV Screen or large H
monitor. It can be set to be the primary interface to Windows itself, a
opposed to Explorer and the desktop..

I don't know about a column in WMP called CUSTOM, but I do know that i
you go to the "Library"->"Songs" view, you can right-click a colum
header, then select "Choose Columns...". In the "Choose Columns" window
find and check the "File Path" entry. Click OK

The location of the item will then be displayed in the Songs view..

Hey,

I have the folder path in my display colums but if u go further down the
list you will see there is a Custom option and if you select it it shows as
custom in the library. If you figure it out let me know.

Any more info on Windows Media Center??

Does Webshots work well with Vista or some compatibality issues??

Cheers...

Ok, I see it now. But no idea what "Custom 1", "Custom 2" or "Data
Provider" is used for...

Not personally, but perhaps Paul Thurrott's blog can shed some more
light for you -

No idea. I've never used the Webshots software. I usually download a
gallery and extract the individual JPG files and use them as and when I
want.

But if it's wallpapers you're after, my all-time favourite source for
the best wallpapers is http://www.sexydesktop.co.uk/. I've been visiting
SD for nearly 3 years now, and I still haven't gone through their entire
library...
