Hi Bob,

Happens from time to time. Bypass that horrid web interface by the use of a
newsreader, it's far more flexible. Setup instructions

Yes I do and it doesn't work. After Signing In, it still acts as if I'm not
Signed In. Can't post.

Hi Bob,

Your original post indicates:

X-Newsreader: Microsoft CDO for Windows 2000

Which is the web interface, not a newsreader. Your reply reads the same.

Bob, that sign in part is broken.
The original link to Vista Discussions IS broken.
After you sign-in, you still can not post, or reply

BUT, the link posted here WORKS.
http://www.microsoft.com/communities...s/default.aspx

You scroll down the list to: microsoft.public.windows THEN expand it for
Vista Newsgroups

And it works the same as the broken one; sign in via Hotmail Account.
MS emailed me this link months ago, when it 1st happened.

You think you are using a newsreader, but you aren't. As Rick said, it will
be far better for you to use a real newsreader instead of the web
interface. It is *very* easy to set up. Here's information:

Since you are using the web interface, you may not realize that this is
really a newsgroup. You will get far more out of this resource if you learn
to use a newsreader. There are many good newsreaders for Windows, but you
can use Outlook Express (XP) or Windows Mail (Vista) since you already have
it. Here are some links to information about newsgroups:
