Vista full backup

After installing, I did a full backup. For space reasons I later deleted
this backup. When I went to make another full backup, it told me it could
take "up to" 16 GB (fine) but probably less as "there has already been a
backup done", and gave me the date it has been run. Umm, I deleted that one.
It isnt doing an incremental against a deleted backup is it?
