Vista getting restarted whenever an external hardware is being use

HI All, I have Windows Vista Home basic installed in my laptop. But whenever
I am connecting to any USB device or inserting DVD in to the DVD drive, it is
getting restarted and one blue screen is appearing. After that it is going to
the safe mode asking for trouble shoot..... Please help.....

Some Windows Vista functions may not work, or Windows Vista may stop

No one can help until you give specifics about the make and model of your
computer and its configuration (specifications). Did VHB come preinstalled
and if so have you contacted the mfg?
