Reasonable points you make Chuck. I should have shared that the "very good
hardware" that I refer to is Fujitsu Lifebook T4220. 2GB RAM, Centrino Duo,
Purchased band new from Fujitsu with Vista Business preinstalled and updated
to the latest Fujitsu drivers. If Fujitu can't make pre-installed Vista work
satisfactory on their hardware, it's unlikely a business consumer can do
better.
That's my opinion. I do genuinely believe that Microsoft should do the
right thing and give all consumers who purchased Vista free OS downgrade
rights to a previous version.
