Ok running Vista Ultimate for about a month now. My C: hard drive space
keeps getting smaller and smaller the last couple of days.

Drive size: 232 GB total Free 30 GB.

When I open up my C: and go edit select all that accounts for only 127 GB.
Yes I am showing hidden files and yes I have full control on ALL files. So
where's the other 75 GB's?

At 0830 this morning I have 45 GB free, came back 2 hours later and its down
to 30. what's going on here?

Perform a Disk Cleanup:

Click on the blue Vista start button and then on the Computer
entry in the Start Menu. Right-click on your hard drive and
select Properties > Disk Cleanup > Files from all users.....
More Options > Clean Up (System Restore and Shadow Copies).

Did that free 200 MB.

Found the solution:

Why doesn't Vista display this information easier? XP you just had to right
click on the drive to set restore size.

Brent,

I am curious to see if you have had any luck. I have had Vista for about 2
months now and am experiencing the same problem. Within about 3 days my Hard
Drive filled about 80GB by itself. I cannot find these files on the Hard
Drive, but the space shows full. I have added no programs.

I am discovering after minimal exploration that this is a fairly widespread
problem. I find it hard to believe that this is as simple as eliminating
system restore points .
