Andre,
No other images on HDD - only other partition is a Boot Loader for the
special Explorer or Media player button, and that only is 1.4GB.
The total HDD space is rated 120GB but it actually comes down to about 110GB
true size!
I use a partitioner pgm to divy the HDD up as 3 diff. partitions: one for OS
& applications, one for My Data, and last one for backup images.
If there is a way I can include jpg's to actually show you guys what things
look like, if that wud help?
And for the other person who answered this post and has a Dell:
Dell normally has HDD divied up as 3 parts with 2 of them sometimes
(usually), hidden. The one with the utils to help THEM mess with your PC is
not needed as you can always download the pgms to your system when and IF
they are needed, so makes sense to give the space back to your system.
If you use an imaging pgm to make backups - you also do not need the restore
partition, who would want to restore the PC with all the crap that Dell puts
on it?
That is what the Dell Decrapifier is for!!!! OOps -- they made him change
the name!! So he calls it the PC Decrapifier now!!
I have been there -- done that!
More info on Dells on request. ;>)
