If hibernation is unstable
with your vista system,

and the "fix it" site / kb
that microsoft provides
doesn't do the trick as
well,

perhaps the following
can be of help:

----------------------

create a desktop short
cut and populate the
field with the below
code - copy and paste
wil suffice:

%windir%\system32\rundll32.exe PowrProf.dll, SetSuspendState m2

making a quick launch
out of it will be helpful
as well.

----------------------

also, changing the icon
to a red box / off sympol
is also helpful.

to change the icon for
the shortcut search in:

%SystemRoot%\System32\shell32(3).dll
