I have Vista Business on my laptop and was just told that I will not be able
to use it at sea on board a cruise ship. Is this true? I also have a
Blackberry that can tether the two together - will this work?
Need a solution / suggestion asap.
Thanks!

What reason was given for not being able to use your laptop on a cruise
ship? From what I understand, you can't use your laptop under water or
sitting in a freezer for more than 8 hours without a jacket.

Call the cruise ship company and find out, but I kind of doubt that this is
true.

I myself, I would leave everything at home and enjoy the cruise.

What are you talking about? Internet connection? If your cruise ship has
satellite internet, it might be available in your cabin through a wired
ethernet connection, or wifi in certain public areas, if the ship was built
or refitted recently.

Your Blackberry will not be able to connect at sea.

Hey retard, the clue is in her sentence about connecting with the
Blackberry. Read the post - DUH! Do you think that cruise operators could
ban laptops for some reason? DUH!

Contact the cruise line. I would expect that they would have wireless
available.

Hey ****-For-Brains, connecting a blackberry and Syncing between the device
and Vista has nothing to do with the Internet. You ****ing moron. The
cruise ship doesn't ban laptops but since you can't afford a cruise you will
NEVER know.

Now go **** yourself
