Vista Home Basic / Hardware Malfunction already?

I tried to start up my computer this morning and it passes through the boot
screen and completely goes blank, the keyboard lights won't turn on, its a
brand new pc with 1 Sata drive in but now it seems to say that my hard drive
is corrupt? but how exactly? i had to run this vista recovery thing on boot
as it normal does but within 3-4 months my own pc and corrupt? can it or is
vista wrong?

Help!

If its still under warranty, try contacting the OEMs Support about this,
since its specifically a hardware issue, either defective or bad device
driver provided by the OEM.
